Toddler Outing: First Movie in a Theater!

Just took Toddler X to his first movie in a theater! I was thinking it would be a nice peaceful respite from a very busy week -- and though "peaceful" would hardly be the word to describe it, it did end up being lots of fun! With three bathroom breaks and two lollipops, we even made it to the closing credits, and I can highly recommend Paddington -- we LOVED it! (Though kind of funny to see Lord Grantham as the dad!)

A friend had mentioned how her toddler kept getting swallowed up by the folding seat at the theater they visited -- at Saratoga 14 (remember when it was Saratoga 6, way back when?), the seats don't fold, so it's a great place for a toddler movie-watching experience.

Also, we went to the 10:55 a.m. showing -- there were only two other families in there, both with small kids, so it was great. I definitely recommend hitting the earliest showing of the day!
